Choosing Between Face-to-Face and Online Therapy: What’s Best for You?

As a therapist, I understand that everyone's preferences and circumstances are different when it comes to therapy. That’s why I offer both face-to-face and online sessions, giving you the flexibility to choose what works best for you.

For those who prefer the structure and routine of in-person therapy, we offer face-to-face sessions in both Edinburgh and Dalkeith. Our Edinburgh and Dalkeith locations provide calm and private environments for therapy. Many clients find that stepping into a dedicated space away from daily distractions allows them to focus more deeply on their journey toward well-being.

Alternatively, online therapy allows you to attend sessions from the comfort of your own home, or wherever you feel most at ease. I use secure platforms like doxy.me or WhatsApp to ensure our conversations are private and safe. This option is perfect if you're juggling a busy schedule, live further afield, or simply prefer the convenience of remote sessions.

Whichever option you choose, the important thing is finding the right balance for you. As always, I offer an initial session at a reduced rate of £35 to give you the opportunity to see if my approach suits you. After that, sessions are £50.
